Now, at twelve months, it is more age appropriate for my daughter. She still loves it, it never got boring like so many other toys. If it the pieces do not match it names your animal- "a horse-duck, that's silly" It is very cute. When a match is correct the toy sings "you made a match." then makes the animal sound. The magnets make it east to put the animals in the barn. My daughter was given this toy when she was 9 months old. At nine months, she could not match the animals, but she could put the pieces in. Kids are rewarded with song whether they are old enough to match or not.
It is very educational and easy for her to manuever. This was a birthday gift for my 1 year old Granddaughter. She loves being able to attach it to the refrigerator and take it off when she wants to.
My own son loves it, as do all of the kids we know who also have it. Great toy. This is my go-to toy for a first birthday gift. He got it for his first birthday and is still playing with it at 2 years old.
It keeps her busy when Mom and Dad are trying to accomplish things in the kitchen. Madison is 13 months old and enjoys being able to stand and play. My granddaughter loves this toy. It is a good gift for little ones.
Now dont get me wrong, my wife is gorgeous and i love her to death but this is good stuff. its great. BUT the best part about the toy is how it seems to make a pig, horse, and cow noise out of nowhere when my wife walks past it. so this goes down as a must buy for me. this toy was a gift for my son on his first birthday and i never thought it would be this great. He enjoys the toy daily mixing the front and rears, throwing them, biting on them. she doesnt think so but I do.
